Early-Access Developer Terms
Version 2026-10 — Effective October 2026 for developers.industrialdata.ca.
1. Beta / As-Is No Warranty
The Industrial Data Developer Portal, SDKs, CLI tooling, registry endpoints, and inference routing interfaces are provided on an early-access beta basis “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Industrial Data makes no availability commitment, no durability promise, and no representation that beta APIs, schemas, or execution environments on any Host, Node, Core, or Dock will remain unchanged.
2. Separate Developer Account & Eligibility
Developer accounts registered on developers.industrialdata.ca (dev_portal) are standalone identities and are completely separate from Host operator and end-user accounts. You must be legally able to form a binding contract and provide accurate account and organization information.
3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Workloads
You may not submit or run workloads that attempt unauthorized access to any Host, Node, Core, or Dock, bypass sandbox or capability boundaries, mine cryptocurrency, conduct network abuse or denial-of-service attacks, process unlawful content, or violate third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
4. CLI Token & Inference Key Custody
Developer CLI tokens (ide_dev_*), inference API keys (ide_sk_*), passkeys, and TOTP recovery codes are confidential credentials under your sole custody. Secret values are displayed once at creation time. You are responsible for all activity conducted with your credentials and must revoke compromised tokens or keys immediately.
5. App Slug Reservation & Review Discretion
Reserving an organization or application slug does not grant trademark rights or permanent ownership. Requested capabilities (GPU, local network, WAN egress, persistent storage, and local inference) are stored as requests only and require explicit Industrial Data review and approval before activation. Industrial Data may reject, revoke, or reassign slugs or capability requests at its sole discretion.
6. Rate Limits & Suspension
Industrial Data may impose or modify request rate limits, concurrency quotas, locality ceilings, and entitlement flags at any time, and may suspend or disable any developer account, organization, application, CLI token, or inference key immediately to protect platform security, Host hardware, or legal compliance.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Industrial Data and its affiliates, operators, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business arising out of or related to your use of the Developer Portal or early-access services.
